PCB Design Engineer
Our client, an international engineering group, with a very strong reputation across the transport and energy sectors now seeks to appoint a PCB Design Engineer to create accurate, cost-effective PCB designs in line with project requirements.
As PCB Design Engineer, you will:
-generate PCB designs
-specify printed circuit boards and manufacturing processes
-control all PCB designs and supporting data
-integrate PCBs into mechanical assemblies
-liaise with suppliers
-identify and propose design improvements using SPC
-ensure minimal component variance
-conduct design for manufacture and assembly studies
-manage subcontract design
-conduct reliability tests
As PCB Design Engineer, you will need:
-experience of multi-layer PCB design
-HNC Electrical Engineering
-experience of ECadstar, Blueprint, MRP/ERP, data management software
-IPC qualification
-experience of electricity networks (a bonus)
Salary:
£45k + benefits
