Marketing expert appointed to raise Catalyst's profile
Catalyst, one of the regions most unique business operations, has invested in the future by appointing David Jackson of Blackhole Creative to help further raise the profile of the company.
The North East based Recruitment and Human Resources specialist, who are one of the few companies in the region to operate solely with homeworkers, aim to expand their client base as the region recovers from the recession.
Catalyst managing director, Paul Wilson, said "As all of my team operate from home, it made sense to have an outsourced marketing department. After learning of David's successful background in marketing for professional service providers I had a quick, easy decision in appointing him."
"With the economy recovering I think it is a good time to invest in marketing. The aim is to put Catalyst in a strong position to capitalise on the resurgence in recruitment that will come naturally with the economic growth in the region."
Catalyst is a member of Work Wise UK, an initiative which aims to make the UK the most progressive economy in the world. With employees spread across the region and one as far afield as Majorca, the company is a sign of the changing face of modern business.
David said "I am excited to work with Catalyst. Their way of operating the business creates some unique challenges and opportunities from a marketing perspective. Paul is extremely dedicated to providing an outstanding service to his clients so I am confident that by increasing the profile of Catalyst the clients will be queuing up for their services."
"Catalyst is a forward thinking, dynamic operation and I think this is demonstrated in their working practices and also in the foresight they have shown by investing in marketing at what is hopefully a turning point for the regions economy."
